UK University Entry Requirements for Accounting and Finance Courses

Application to accounting and finance course in the UK generally require students to have a strong background in mathematics and a good result in English subject. Prior learning of business or accounting subjects will be an advantage for students. Some main points to note:

  • Entry requirements will be different from university to university. Top ranking universities will have higher entry requirements than others.
  • An international student will need to meet the English Language Requirements to get a Tier 4 (General) student visa.

    • Most of UK universities accepts the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE). Depending on the course and specific requirements, the grade range is from 444 to 555 in the core or elective subjects (excluding liberal and general studies).
    • Some of the completive course or university are likely required 5 or 5* grades.
  • Postgraduates:

  • Undergraduate:
